Van door not working well?
With more extensive use of the van for business, be it for transportation or deliveries, it is common that the parts can wear out over time of use. The van door is a part that can also wear out, requiring a van door repair in the process, be it for a manual door or power sliding door. With two doors in place, it is unlikely both doors would break down at the same time. Having one faulty door is however, still an inconvenience you may want to address.
Sliding door not working well?
For power sliding doors, if the press of the button to open and close the door does not bring the usual fast response, this could be a sign of issues, such as wiring problems or fuse problems. Otherwise, unusual sounds like metal grinding when the door is opening and closing could also signal problems to come, which could be from the motor assembly wearing down.
Van door repair
For a power sliding van door, there is an electric motor that powers a chain, pulling and closing the door along a track. When the motor assembly mechanism does not work, it may still be difficult to open the door manually. If the door is forced close, the control system may lose the bearing of the correct closing position and this would need to be reset after a repair.
You can always come to us for a check if your manual or power sliding door is experiencing issues, and our friendly mechanics can check this for you and give you a quote before proceeding with any van door repair and replacements. We are also able to assist you with any van maintenance services.
